PERTH & SURROUNDS

Bathroom strip-outs in Perth.

Start your bathroom renovation with a clearly scoped strip-out. We quote tile and fixture removal for Perth homeowners and builders, including demolition waste arrangements.

Know what is coming out before work starts.

A bathroom strip-out may include wall and floor tiles, a vanity, shower fittings, a bath or other disconnected fixtures. Every room is different: some renovations retain the ceiling or wall linings, while others need those removed too. Photos of each wall and the floor help define the extent of the work.

Tiles can cover several layers of bedding, adhesive or earlier finishes. Tell us whether the quote needs to cover the tile finish only, the bedding beneath it or further preparation for your builder. The condition of concealed walls and floors can only be confirmed as they are exposed; repairs and rebuilding are separate from demolition.

For an apartment, include the floor level, stairs or lift access, parking and strata working-hour requirements. In an occupied home, tell us which facilities need to remain available and how the removal route passes through the house. Protection and separation of retained areas need to be agreed before work begins.

Renovating several rooms? We also quote kitchen, laundry and residential strip-outs as part of the same project.

What we can include

Your quote will identify the items included for your project. Depending on the scope, these may cover:

  • Bathroom wall and floor tiles within the agreed extent
  • Vanities, cupboards and specified built-in storage
  • Baths, shower fittings and other fixtures after relevant disconnections
  • Ceilings or wall linings only where specifically included
  • Loading and disposal of the agreed demolition debris

How much does a bathroom strip-out cost?

Room size is only one part of the quote. Full-height wall tiles, multiple layers, thick bedding, heavy fixtures and difficult access can change the work involved. Send room measurements, clear photos, your suburb and the items to retain. We can then review the scope and advise whether a site assessment is needed before pricing.

Help us quote accurately

Confirm the builder’s demolition requirements and arrange the relevant plumbing and electrical isolations before removal. Send the preferred timing, any strata restrictions and details of existing materials or hazardous-material assessments. A site-visit fee, if applicable, is disclosed before the appointment.

Plumbing, electrical work, waterproofing, tiling, structural alterations and rebuilding are outside a standard bathroom strip-out. Asbestos or other suspected hazardous materials require separate assessment and specialist removal before work in the affected area proceeds.

Common questions

Do you remove wall tiles as well as floor tiles?

Yes, where they are included in the quote. Identify the tiled walls, approximate heights and any areas to retain so we can allow for the correct removal extent.

Do I need a plumber or electrician first?

Relevant services must be made safe by the appropriate trades before affected fixtures are removed. Tell us what has been arranged so the sequence is clear.

Is the bathroom ready for waterproofing after demolition?

Your builder or waterproofing contractor needs to assess the exposed substrate. Repairs, new linings, screeds and waterproofing are separate works and are not automatically included in the demolition price.

Can you strip out bathrooms in an apartment?

We can assess the project once we know the floor level, access, waste route and strata requirements. Include those details with your photos and scope.
