PERTH & SURROUNDS

Floor removal & concrete grinding in Perth.

We remove existing floor finishes and quote concrete grinding to suit the agreed preparation scope for your Perth fit-out or renovation.

A better starting point underfoot.

Removing a floor finish and preparing the substrate are separate tasks. A floor can look clear but still have adhesive, mortar or coatings that the next flooring contractor needs removed. We make that distinction in the quote so the handover requirements are understood.

Floor area alone is not enough to determine the cost. Tile bedding, adhesive type, multiple layers, edge work, access, power supply and the specified finish all matter. If a flooring installer is involved, send their preparation requirements with your enquiry.

What we can include

Your quote will identify the items included for your project. Depending on the scope, these may cover:

  • Carpet, carpet tile and vinyl removal
  • Ceramic tile removal within the agreed scope
  • Adhesive or residue removal where specified
  • Concrete grinding to the agreed preparation requirement
  • Collection and disposal of removed floor materials

Help us quote accurately

Provide the floor area, current finish, substrate, site level and access. Include close-up photos and the next flooring system, plus any written surface-preparation specification.

Grinding does not automatically include levelling, slab repairs, moisture testing, moisture barriers, polished concrete or a warranty for the next flooring system. These requirements need separate assessment.

Common questions

Is grinding included in flooring removal?

Only where it is specifically listed in the quote. Tell us whether you need the finish removed only or the underlying surface prepared as well.

Can you give a price per square metre?

We can price from the area once the materials, substrate and preparation requirements are understood. Different layers and site conditions can make the same floor area very different to remove.

Will the slab be ready for new flooring?

The required finish needs to be agreed with your flooring installer. Levelling, repairs, moisture treatment and final suitability for the new system may require further work.
